「跨領域學士學位」是一種由學校審查認證後，直接授予的跨領域學士學位。跨領域學士的核心是依據 「你的興趣」出發，引領你自己打造專屬的跨域學位，而非單純的轉到另一個學系。 The "Interdisciplinary Bachelor's Degree" is a degree awarded directly by the university after review and certification. 可以的。申請跨領域學士不是成績競賽，也不是只給「學霸」的制度。跨領域學士重視的重點是： Yes. Applying for this degree is not a grade competition, nor is it only for "straight-A" students. The focus is on:

• 你是否有清楚的學習動機 / Clear learning motivation
• 是否思考過自己的跨域方向 / Thoughtful interdisciplinary direction
• 你的修課規劃是否合理、具整體性 / Reasonable and holistic course planning

成績、GPA當然會作為參考，但它不是審查重點。我們更看重的是你的學習企圖心、規劃能力，以及是否願意為自己的學習負責。
Grades and GPA are taken as reference, but they are not the primary focus. We value your ambition, planning skills, and willingness to take responsibility for your learning. 只要你能提出一份有邏輯、有目標、可行性高的「跨域學習計畫」，並且願意投入時間與心力完成，就有機會通過審查。
至於競爭程度，試辦階段會設定一定比例名額（每年約占當年度全校學士班招生名額２%），但制度精神是鼓勵多元發展，而不是篩選菁英。

申請流程包括「諮詢、學習計畫、申請、審查」四個階段，主要步驟： The process includes four stages: Consultation, Learning Plan, Application, and Review. Main steps:

1. 預約「學習與職涯規劃師」晤談 / Book a meeting with a Learning & Career Planner
2. 申請 / Formal Application
3. 辦公室初審 / Office Preliminary Review
4. 修業審查小組面試 / Interview by the Review Committee
5. 公告錄取名單 / Announcement of Admission List

一般來說，從收件截止到公告結果，大約需要4–5 週左右（依當學期公告時程為準）。錄取名單會在跨領域學士專責辦公室網站公布。
Generally, it takes about 4-5 weeks from the deadline to results announcement. The list will be posted on the University Interdisciplinary Bachelor Program Office (UIBP) website.

申請時，學生需繳交下列文件： Students must submit the following:

1. 申請跨領域學士學位計畫書 (含四個模組規劃、總結性評量構想)
   Application Proposal (including 4 modules and capstone project concept).
2. 歷年成績單
   Official Transcripts for all years.
3. 本學期選課紀錄
   Course Enrollment Record for the current semester.
4. 其他有利相關證明文件 (非必要)
   Supporting documents (e.g., exhibitions, club experience; optional).
5. 學習與職涯規劃師晤談紀錄
   Interview record with the Learning & Career Planner.

不一定要修過任何「跨域課程」，但是申請前，需至少修過一門非原學系課程(不含校核心通識課程)，作為你曾經進行跨領域探索的證明。

No. This degree is not a shortcut to "fast graduation." 畢業總學分（至少128學分）與學術要求並不降低，只是從完成原學系固定院基礎、系核心、系專業選修，改為完成四個跨域專長模組與總結性評量課程。
The total credits (at least 128) and academic standards remain the same. The difference is replacing home dept. requirements with four interdisciplinary modules and a capstone project. 彈性不等於減量，而是自行規劃與整合。若規劃不清，反而可能延長修業時間，因此需要更明確的目標與良好的時間管理。
Flexibility doesn't mean less work, but rather self-planning. Poor planning might delay graduation; thus, clear goals and time management are essential.

Total credits aren't increased, and the number of courses is similar to standard degrees. The difference lies in organizing courses by modules rather than fixed departmental structures. 為了避免課程過多或時間衝突，學習規劃師會：協助檢視修課節奏、建議安排合理的學期負擔。
如果規劃清楚、分配得當，課業負擔不一定會變重；但因為需要自行整合與規劃，對時間管理與目標設定的要求會更高。

• 原學系：負責審查院系核心與專業課程。
  Home Dept: Reviews core and professional courses for standard degrees/minors.
• 專責辦公室：負責審查四個跨域模組與總結性評量。
  BIS Office: Reviews the 4 modules and capstone project for the Interdisciplinary degree.
